1. The working area is referred to as a spreadsheet. It can contain several sheets that are called worksheets.
The sheet tab enables to move from one worksheet to another.
2. The worksheet is the area where all the data is filled in and the respective calculations are carried out. It is composed of rows and columns.
3. The intersection of a row and a column forms a block called a cell. The cell inside of which you are working is referred to as the active cell of the worksheet.
In the following example, notice the active cell in row 9 and column C.
4. The cell is linked to an address that is also called reference.
The content of a cell is displayed in the formula bar located above the worksheet.
5. To move from one cell to another within a worksheet, use the scroll bars or your keyboard's arrows.
